BBC News - Egypt Salafist ex-MP convicted of public indecency
Salafist movement has just appeared in the scene after the 25th of Jan revolution... apparently for political rather than religious reasons... the funny this is that their head Abu Ismail 's mother is american..the movement is supported and financed by the not well educated Saudi Royal family who is trying to have more influence in the region by encouraging the wahabi radical movement in the middle east... but such influence may not be exercised in Egypt who is 3000 years older civilization than Saudi nomads .... Saudi King you are mistaken if you think you can have any kind of influence here my friend you may try in nearby Yemen or Bahrin where you may act as the civilized old man...
How in Saudi they apply Shari3a or islamic law and they have a king which totally contradicts very weird country....with lots of gays and lesbians ....
